The connection fitting for a vehicle seat has an adjustable back rest having a plate spring (6) forming a fixed connection between a drive shaft (5) and a rotatable eccentric (3). The plate spring has a slotted region (6b) at its centre forming individual spring arms which stand in positive engagement with ribs (3b) in the eccentric. The plate spring also has holes (6a) at its outer edge which are in fixed engagement with the studs (7a) of a pick up disc mounted on the drive shaft. ADVANTAGE - Seat fitting in which the spring not only produces axial tension but also acts as a torque transmission.
