PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate recording data from which a spatial deviation of the recording data is reduced using a quantization pattern and mask patterns corresponding to each other, without hampering a degree of freedom of setting of the quantization pattern.SOLUTION: To a region quantized using a partial region within a quantization pattern and not using other regions within the quantization pattern out of quantization data, any of mask pattern parts A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, and D2 which corresponds to the partial region out of the mask pattern regions constituted by dividing each mask pattern is applied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
