<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a fault caused by winding looseness of a tape, by constituting the titled system so that a reel motor can be brought to driving control by switching the magnitude of the acceleration torque in accordance with an operating state of a magnetic tape device and the accelerating direction of a tape. CONSTITUTION:An operating state discriminating means 1 discriminates whether an operation of a magnetic tape device is at the time of loading or at a regular time. On the other hand, an accelerating direction discriminating means 2 discriminates whether the accelerating direction is an acceleration or deceleration in the forward direction, or an acceleration or a deceleration in the backward direction. An acceleration torque switching means 3 switches the magnitude of the acceleration torque in accordance with a result of discrimination by the means 1 and the means 2. A reel motor driving means 4 drives a reel motor in accordance with the acceleration torque outputted from the means 3. In such a way, even in case of a tape having looseness, it is wound tightly without giving a tape damage such as the tape itself stretches or bent, etc., and an alarm caused by looseness can be reduced.</p> |
