PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion system capable of suppressing deviation in loss of a switching element.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion system comprises diodes connected to first switching elements and second switching elements in reverse parallel respectively, and a control part which turns on/off the first switching elements and second switching elements in predetermined cycles shorter than AC cycles. The control part is configured to turn on/off a first switching element of one series circuit in one half cycle of one AC cycle and a first switching element of the other series circuit in the other half cycle, and further to turn on/off a second switching element of the one series circuit in one half cycle of the other cycle different from the one cycle and the second switching element of the other series circuit in the other half cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
