PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of zeolite excellent in purification performance of NOx and capable of suppressing breakage of a honeycomb catalyst when used as the honeycomb catalyst.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing zeolite having a CHA structure with SiO/AlOcomposition ratio (SAR) of less than 15 and average particle diameter of 0.5 μm or less, including a process for synthesizing zeolite by using a raw material composition containing a Si source, an Al source, an alkali source and a structure definition agent and using silica sol with specific surface area of 150 to 500 m/g as the Si source.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
