PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage element which enables a spacer to be smoothly inserted into a container while reducing position displacement of the spacer in the container.SOLUTION: A power storage element 10 comprises: an electrode body 120 having a positive electrode and a negative electrode; and a container 100 for housing the electrode body 120. The power storage element includes: an insulation material 180 disposed in the container 100 and electrically insulating the electrode body 120 from the container 100; and a bottom surface spacer 170 disposed in the container 100.
