摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of detecting abnormality in a motor.SOLUTION: A motor control device includes: an open-phase determination instruction output section for outputting a d-axis current value and a q-axis current value used for detecting abnormality in a coil; an open-phase detection angle correction section for detecting an electric angle of a motor, selecting an electric angle obtained by correcting the detected electric angle with a predetermined correction angle in the case where the detected electric angle is the angle at which the coil with the phase in which the current value to be energized becomes 0 at the time of energization with the q-axis current value set to 0 exists, and selecting the detected electric angle in the case where the detected electric angle is not the angle at which the coil with the phase in which the current value to be energized becomes 0 exists; an energization section for energizing each coil of the motor on the basis of the d-axis current value and the q-axis current value output from the open-phase determination instruction output section, and the electric angle detected by the open-phase detection angle correction section; and an open-phase determination section for determining whether or not abnormality occurs in any of coils in the motor on the basis of the current flowing in each coil when the energization section energizes the motor.
