PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infusion fluid leakage detection sensor that enables quick measures to be taken by detecting fluid leakage at an early stage by an effective use of a technology of an optical fiber sensor, etc., and notifying nurses, etc. accordingly so as to prevent a fluid leakage accident that frequently occurs at the time of infusion in a hospital.SOLUTION: An infusion fluid leakage sensor includes an infusion needle and an analysis part for analyzing a component of fluid leaching from an infusion place (leaching fluid) where infusion fluid is infused by the infusion needle. Leakage of infusion fluid can be detected by analyzing a content of a component of the infusion fluid in the leaching fluid at the analysis part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
