An axial fan (110) is provided with: a rotary vane (1); a motor (2); and a stator vane (10). The motor (2) has stationary portions (2a) and a rotary portion (2b) that is rotated with respect to the stationary portions (2a). The rotary vane (1) is fixed to the rotary portion (2b) in the motor (2). The motor (2) rotates the rotary portion (2b) about a rotation axis (3), thereby rotating the rotary vane (1) about the rotation axis (3) in one direction. The motor (2) rotates the rotary vane (1) in one direction, thereby forming an air flow in a predetermined one direction. The stator vane (10) is disposed at a location that is closer to a downstream side in the direction in which air flows than the rotary vane (1) is, and is detachably attached to a stationary-side member. The stator vane (10) has a plurality of blades (11) in each of which a straight line connecting an inner end and an outer end in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis (3) is tilted in the opposite direction from a rotation direction (4) of the rotary vane (1), with respect to a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis (3). |
