PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transport and recover broken materials generated in manufacturing a membrane electrode assembly.SOLUTION: The membrane electrode assembly manufacturing device according to the present invention comprises: a cutting part for cutting a membrane electrode assembly from a belt-like membrane electrode assembly sheet; and a broken material transport nip roller having a pair of upper and lower rollers for nipping and transporting a broken material from which a portion of the membrane electrode assembly is cut out. A surface of the upper roller is divided into plural roller surface parts by at least one groove in a peripheral direction of the upper roller. Among the plural roller surface parts, the roller surface part at one end nips a margin part at one end in a center axial direction of the broken material between it and the lower roller. The roller surface part at the other end nips a margin part at the other end in the center axial direction of the broken material between it and the lower roller, and the plural roller surface parts are constituted to integrally rotate to follow rotation of the lower roller. |
