PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a diffractive optical element that can display an image on a required region while ensuring a see-through property.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a diffractive optical element is provided for manufacturing a diffractive optical element by exposing a hologram recording material H, and the method includes an exposure step in which coherent light LB exiting from a single light source 21 is divided into object light OB and reference light SB, and the object light OB and the reference light SB are made to interfere to produce exposure light that irradiates the hologram recording material H. In the exposure step, the intensity of exposure light irradiating a portion of the hologram recording material H to be a first region is different from the intensity of exposure light irradiating a portion of the hologram recording material H to be a second region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
