A control arrangement for a traction engine (1) for towing an attachment (4) is disclosed. The control arrangement has a sensor (14) with which an inclination of the traction engine can be determined. An inclination time profile can be detected from the inclination. Furthermore, a traction engine having a controller of this type is disclosed which has a lifting assembly (2) with which the inclination of the attachment can be adjusted. Furthermore, a method for a traction engine having a control arrangement of this type is disclosed with which the inclination of the traction engine is detected and with which the speed of the traction engine is detected. Furthermore, with the method the inclination time profile can be determined from the inclination and from the speed.
