When the voltage-fluctuation suppression device according to the embodiments suppresses voltage fluctuations at a first power system while inputting/outputting interconnection power between the first power system, which is a commercial power system, and a second power system, which is provided with a power generation device and performs system interconnection with the first power system, a control unit controls the ratio of the active and reactive power outputted by the voltage-fluctuation suppression device such that said ratio is identical to the ratio of the active and reactive power of the power flowing between the first power system and the second power system. As a result, the voltage-fluctuation suppression device can suppress voltage fluctuations at a power distribution system by appropriately controlling active power and reactive power to be suited to the distribution system during actual operation, without measuring impedance at the distribution system. |
