TRIGGER FRAME TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS IN WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK

Disclosed is a trigger frame transmission method in a wireless local area network. The method comprises: generating a trigger frame, the trigger frame comprising a trigger frame type identifier, the trigger frame type identifier being used for distinguishing different types of trigger frames, and the different types of trigger frames comprising: a trigger frame not carrying a media access control (MAC) function, a trigger frame carrying a single MAC function, or a trigger frame carrying multiple MAC functions. The present invention also provides a corresponding trigger frame transmission apparatus. By means of the foregoing manner, a uniform frame format design is performed on different types of trigger frames, so that the structure of a trigger frame is simplified, and the complexity of a receiving station is lowered.
