The process for the preparation of the fibre composite materials comprises, in a first step, impregnating fibres with a melt-liquid polysilazane, in a second step converting the polysilazane in the fibres to the infusible state, and, in a third step, heating the impregnated fibres to from 800 to 2000 DEG C in a nitrogen, noble-gas or ammonia atmosphere. |
