a processor unit; and a memory unit communicatively coupled to the processor unit, the memory unit storing logic configured to, when executed by the processor unit, cause the touch sensor controller to:
suspend for a first time period, based on an expected interference between a scan of a touch-sensitive area of a touch sensor for touch events and an update of a display screen, the scan of the touch-sensitive area of the touch sensor for touch events; andresume the scan after the first time period.
