A zoom lens includes, in order from the object side, a first lens unit having a positive focal length, a second lens unit having a negative focal length, a third lens unit having a positive focal length, a fourth lens unit having a negative focal length, and a fifth lens unit having a positive focal length, wherein following Conditional Expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied:;0.3≦D34W/D45W≦1  (1), and;0.2≦(D34W/D45W)/(D34T/D45T)≦0.6  (2).

1. A zoom lens comprising:
in order from an object side, a first lens unit having a positive focal length; a second lens unit having a negative focal length; a third lens unit having a positive focal length; a fourth lens unit having a negative focal length; and a fifth lens unit having a positive focal length, wherein at a time of zooming from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, air spaces between lens units change, and following Conditional Expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied:
0.3≦D34W/D45W≦1  (1), and0.2≦(D34W/D45W)/(D34T/D45T)≦0.6  (2), where, D34W is an air space on an optical axis between the third lens unit and the fourth lens unit at the wide angle end; D45W is an air space on the optical axis between the fourth lens unit and the fifth lens unit at the wide angle end; D34T is an air space on the optical axis between the third lens unit and the fourth lens unit at the telephoto end; and D45T is an air space on the optical axis between the fourth lens unit and the fifth lens unit at the telephoto end.
