MULTI-SOURCE ACCESS METHOD AND SYSTEM

Provided is a multi-source access method and system. The method comprises: a multi-source access unit performs a photoelectric conversion and a photoelectric inverse conversion on its owned source baseband optical signals in sequence to realize transparent transmission of the owned source baseband optical signals; the multi-source access unit processes external source radio frequency signals as external source digital signals, and performs a photoelectric conversion on the obtained external source digital signals to obtain external source optical signals; the multi-source access unit transmits the owned source baseband optical signals and the external source optical signals to an indoor coverage system by a same optical fiber, so that the indoor coverage system can realize indoor signal coverage compatible with multiple sources. The provided multi-source access method and system allow multi-source signals of different manufacturers or different modes to share the same indoor coverage system, thereby significantly reducing construction costs of an indoor distribution system and the difficulty in system planning and design.
