A device (2) for the separate recovery of biogas and rainwater for a structure (1) for storing loaded liquid effluents (3) such as liquid manure. This device comprises a first substantially horizontal membrane (6) covering substantially all of the surface (3a) of the loaded liquid effluent (3), and a second substantially vertical membrane (7) disposed all around the first membrane (6) and consisting of a lower portion (7a) and an upper portion (7b) disposed to either side of said first membrane (6), and means for discharging biogas and rainwater. This device is intended, in particular, for farms that produce effluents and have uncovered storage structures.
