a search unit configured to search for a device by using Bluetooth communication; a display unit configured to display a result of the search; an instruction unit configured to instruct, using the Bluetooth communication, a device selected from the result of the search to operate in an access point mode; an obtaining unit configured to obtain, using the Bluetooth communication, connection information from the device operating in the access point mode; and a communication unit configured to establish a wireless LAN connection with the device based on the obtained connection information.
