An optical termination box comprises: a base (10) with a hinged cover (20) and fixed trays (80) to house optical fibre splices and extensions; a panel (40) detachably mounted in an opening (13) of a portion of the peripheral wall (12) of the base (10) and provided with cable openings (41) through which pass respective optical cables and with connection openings (42) which house respective fixed connectors (50) for receiving movable connectors (55) of respective drop cables (CA); a support plate (60) removably attached inside the base (10) and carrying anchoring means (65), as well as a support (70) to which the trays (80) are hinged, wherein the support plate (60), the anchoring means (65), the support (70) and the trays (80) form an inner module (MI) that can be removed from the base (10), together with the panel (40), without dismounting the anchoring means and undoing the optical connections between the distribution cables (CD) and any of the extension cables (CE) and drop cables (CA). |
