PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve inspection efficiency while enabling troubleshooting with good accuracy.SOLUTION: In troubleshooting, a load drive device 1 is connected to a capacitor 7 and a motor 3 in series through a third switch 8 so that a current based on a battery voltage BAT flows through a path including the capacitor 7 and the motor 3. When the load drive device 1 is normal, the monitor voltage as an output voltage of a monitor line 10 becomes greater than that in a steady state immediately after the third switch 8 is set to be on, and, if the load drive device 1 is abnormal, the monitor voltage does not increase. Troubleshooting is thus carried out by comparing the monitor voltage with an abnormality determination threshold. When the number of occurrence times of the event in which the monitor voltage exceeds the abnormality determination threshold exceeds a normality threshold, 'normality' is determined when the normality threshold is exceeded, and only when the normality threshold is not exceeded, 'abnormality' is diagnosed during abnormality determination times. The configuration allows quick diagnosis of 'normality' independent of a time lapse after the third switch 8 is set to be on. |
