PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which is easily fitted on the body of a wearer and has little leakage, when worn, and which can be easily worn even in the case where the wearer has violent body motions or where the wearer wears the diaper while standing up.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper is equipped on both side portions on the backside thereof with fastening base material sheets 8 protruding outward. On the inner side of the material sheets, there are mounted fixing means 5, through which the base material sheets can be fixed on the abdominal side outer surfaces of the diaper. From the leading end sides of the base sheets toward the base end sides, there are provided leading end side openings 11 and base end side openings 18. The leading end portions of the base material sheets are folded inward between the fixing means and the leading end side openings, and the folded base material sheet is further folded to the outer side between the leading end side openings and the base end side openings, so that the leading end side openings and the base end side openings overlap at least partially. Through the fixing means facing from the overlapping openings, the base material sheet can be temporarily locked on the abdominal side outer surface of the diaper. |
