The invention relates to a laminated hybrid thermoplastic composite system and to a process for processing the same. According to the invention, the system is made of a bidimensional carbon cloth with thermoplastic matrix of polyamide 6 with an admixture of 4% by weight organophylized montmorillonite as nanopowder. The process, as claimed by the invention, consists in impregnating a number of carbon cloth plies with a solution resulting from the mixture of montmorillonite nanopowder with polyamide 6 dissolved in formic acid solvent, removing the solvent and pressing the resulting laminated structure at temperatures of up to 250°C. |
