CASH FLOW MANAGEMENT

Methods and systems for managing merchant cash flow are described. A service provider accesses a large volume of merchant financial data collected and/or received to provide a meaningful forecast on merchant cash flow. Based on the forecast (e.g., positive or negative cash flow position), the service provider can provide options (e.g., credit, loan, deferred payment, etc.) to the merchant.

1. A system, comprising:
a non-transitory memory; and one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the system to perform operations comprising:
receiving via a graphical user interface, an indication of a time period for which a cash flow position is to be calculated for a merchant;retrieving, via an electronic network, financial account information, the financial account information resulting from a database lookup;updating the graphical user interface to present a generated merchant cash flow forecast indication for the indicated time period and a graphical element, the graphical element presenting a user-selectable recommendations list configured to provide recommended options to increase changes of the cash flow position being positive for the indicated time period;in response to receiving a user selection of one or more of the recommended options from the user-selectable recommendations list, causing a recalculation of the cash flow position in accordance with the financial account information; andupdating the graphical user interface to present an updated merchant cash flow forecast indication in accordance with the recalculation of the cash flow position.
