An audio system comprising a first audio device and a second audio device. The first audio device has a first communications unit, a parameter operation unit, a first parameter adjustment unit, and a first control unit. The second audio device has a second communications unit, a storage unit, a second parameter adjustment unit, and a second control unit. The parameter operation unit in the first audio device receives rising or falling parameter value operations. The first control unit controls the first parameter adjustment unit by using a control amount corresponding to the operation amount received by the parameter operation unit, calculates the rate of change for the control amount within the full parameter adjustment range for the first parameter adjustment unit, and send this rate of change to the second audio device. The second control unit in the second audio device receives the rate of change from the first audio device, converts this rate of change to a control amount in the full parameter adjustment range for the second parameter adjustment unit, controls the second parameter adjustment unit by using a value for an integer portion of this control amount, adds a value for a decimal portion of the control amount to the storage unit, and, if an integer portion occurs in the added storage unit value, controls the second parameter adjustment unit again using the value of the integer portion, and deletes the integer portion from the storage unit. |
