PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus configuration change determination device capable of detecting that a mounted apparatus has been replaced during power-down of an information processor, and determining that the mounted apparatus has been replaced also after power-on.SOLUTION: An apparatus configuration change determination device includes detection means which has a mechanism displaced by the insertion of an apparatus into a connection part of an information processor and holding the displaced position and outputs a unique signal to the displaced position, and the device determines the mounted state of the apparatus by comparing a presence confirmation signal indicating that the apparatus is present and the signal outputted by the detection means with a past presence confirmation signal and a past signal outputted by the detection means, and outputs a determination result to the information processor when the apparatus is inserted into or removed from the connection part of the information processor. |
