A wireless terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention is configured so as to communicate directly with another wireless terminal. The wireless terminal is provided with a controller configured so as to receive first data destined for the other terminal from a base station. The controller is configured so as to also receive information indicating a first wireless resource to be used for transferring the first data to the other wireless terminal by direct communication when the first data is received from the base station.
