PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an image recording apparatus having a control substrate and a communication substrate.SOLUTION: A control substrate 90 including a control circuit is arranged in an apparatus casing with a mounting surface 93 upward. A communication substrate 70 including an interface circuit between the control circuit and a telephone line is arrange to a right side of the control substrate 90. The communication substrate 70 is arranged in a height range H from a mounting component 92A being the tallest among the mounting components 92 mounted in the control substrate 90 to the control substrate 90. The control substrate 90 and the communication substrate 70 are connected by a connection cable 75. This arrangement of the communication substrate 70 and the control substrate 90 reduces height of the apparatus casing 21, and length of the connection cable 75.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
