The present invention relates to a method for removing pollution from soil and/or sludge polluted by hydrocarbons, characterized in that it includes the consecutive steps of: a) mixing said hydrocarbon-polluted soil and/or said sludge with an aqueous solution containing a polyol or polyols such as to obtain a mixture a'); and b) adding and mixing, to the mixture a'), an aqueous solution containing hydrogen peroxide so as to obtain a mixture b'). The invention also relates to the use, in sequence, of an aqueous solution, containing a polyol or polyols, and an aqueous solution, containing hydrogen peroxide, to remove pollution from a soil and/or a sludge polluted by hydrocarbons. |
