a controller; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the controller, facilitate performance of operations comprising:
determining a user profile of a plurality of user profiles associated with a gaming accessory comprising a plurality of programmable layers; andidentifying a substitute accessory stimulation for a gaming accessory stimulation of the gaming accessory by way of a predetermined association of the gaming accessory stimulation with the substitute accessory stimulation of the programmable layer of the plurality of programmable layers,wherein the predetermined association is recorded in the user profile of the plurality of user profiles, andwherein other predetermined associations of stimulations of the gaming accessory with other substitute accessory stimulations are recorded in other user profiles of the plurality of user profiles.
