The purpose of the present invention is to provide a useful low-molecular-weight siloxane compound that includes a hydroxyl group, to provide a composition that includes the siloxane compound, and to provide a siloxane compound production method that can efficiently produce such a siloxane compound. The present invention makes it possible to prepare a composition that contains 1 mass% or more but less than 100 mass% of one or more siloxane compound represented by formulas (A-1)-(A-6) by producing the siloxane compound under anhydrous conditions, by producing the siloxane compound in a solvent that acts to suppress silanol condensation, or the like, and because a silanol compound exists stably in the composition that is obtained, the composition can be used as a siloxane compound raw material or the like.
