PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission efficiency of information from a position indicator to a position detector by selectively transmitting information in response to a command transmitted from the position detector, from the position indicator.SOLUTION: A position indicator includes a memory in which transmission information is stored and transmits a plurality of kinds of digital information including information on pressure applied to a pen tip. The plurality of kinds of digital information are detected through a sensor arranged in a position detector. Furthermore, in response to a command received through the sensor arranged in the position detector, the position indicator transmits the digital information selected from the plurality of kinds of digital information to the position detector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
