[Class 20 (iii)] A glazing and sealing strip for the edges of glass panels, particularly the meeting edges of the panels of V-shaped wind-screens, comprises a recessed rubber strip 11 having an outer flexible metal moulding 10 attached to grooves therein and an inner retaining member 9. The panels are clamped to the strip by the retaining member 9 and screws 18 engaging spaced inserts 19 in the rubber. The inserted pieces 19 are situated in front of the grooves for the moulding so as to hold same, and narrow longitudinal connecting strips may be used to space the threaded screw engaging parts.</p> |
