an insertion portion that can be inserted into a subject; a conductive electrodeposition portion exposed at at least part of a surface of the insertion portion and configured to electrodeposit a lubricant applied to an outer surface; a grasping portion for a user to grasp, the grasping portion being provided on a proximal end side of the insertion portion; an insulating member configured to electrically insulate the grasping portion from the electrodeposition portion; and a connection portion connected to a direct current power source configured to apply a voltage to the electrodeposition portion in a state that the insertion portion is inserted into the subject. |
