The present invention pertains to an operation mechanism (10) for connecting an operating member (L) and a to-be-operated member (M) via a cable (3) and a rod member (6) connected at one end to the cable (3), wherein a tubular member (5) having an internal space in which the rod member (6) slides has a contact portion (5c) that can move toward the rod member (6) and can come into contact with the rod member (6), a mounting member (7) that is mounted on the tubular member (5) and that can move in the axial direction of the tubular member (5) is provided with a pressing portion (7c) that brings the contact portion (5c) into contact with the rod member (6) by pressing, and the pressure on the contact portion (5c) by the pressing portion (7c), which corresponds to the movement of the mounting member (7) in the axial direction of the tubular member (5), changes the state of contact between the contact portion (5c) and the rod member (6), allowing sliding resistance to be adjusted. |
