PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an electrophotographic image using a wet fixing method, configured to ensure high fixing strength and inhibit the occurrence of offset phenomenon, and to provide an apparatus for forming an electrophotographic image and a fixing solution.SOLUTION: A method for forming an electrophotographic image includes: an electrostatic latent image forming step; a developing step which develops the electrostatic latent image with dry developer to form a toner image; a transfer step of transferring the toner image to an image support body; a fixing solution supply step of supplying a fixing solution to the transferred toner image; and an ultraviolet irradiation step of irradiating the toner image with ultraviolet rays after fixing solution supply step. The fixing solution contains an ultraviolet-curable compound represented by a general formula (1), as a softening agent. In the formula, Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, L represents a divalent connecting group, and Rrepresents any of an aliphatic hydrocarbon group, an aromatic hydrocarbon group, a heteroaromatic hydrocarbon group, an alicyclic hydrocarbon group, and a heteroalicyclic hydrocarbon group. |
