The present invention provides a communication method and apparatus for an intelligent platform management interface (IPMI) device, and a communication device. The method comprises: a microcontroller acquires, from an upper computer, specified data for indicating triggering of operation of an IPMI device; the microcontroller parses and verifies the specified data, and forwards the specified data to the IPMI device after verification succeeds; the microcontroller receives data, in response to the specified data, of the IPMI device; and the microcontroller sends the data to the upper computer in response to the specified data, wherein the upper computer presents the data to a user in response to the specified data. The present invention resolves the problems of complicated communication test on an IPMI device by a system and long starting time in the related art. |
