A system for collecting status information of a parking lot comprises: a sensing device (5), disposed at a parking space of the parking lot and used for sensing the entrance and exit of a vehicle; a data control unit (3), connected to the sensing device (5); a cloud server (1), connected to the data control unit (3) through a network; and a client (2), connected to the cloud server (1) through the network. A user can know parking lot vacancy data collected by the cloud server (1) by connecting the client (2) to the cloud server (1), so as to decide, in advance, a proper parking lot at a planned destination; in addition, a manager of the parking lot can also deploy, guide and shunt vehicles entering the parking lot according to a status display device (6), so that the vehicles in the parking lot are in order, and reminding can be made at an entrance in advance so as to avoid vehicle jams. |
