PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device which can suppress generation of wrinkles on a metal foil with a coating liquid coated.SOLUTION: In a coating device 1, a pair of rollers 10, 10 are respectively rotated by a drive part 14 so that a spiral peripheral surface 10a of the roller 10 moves outward the metal foil 2 in a width direction. Thereby, the peripheral surface 10a of the roller 10 is in slide-contact with an uncoated part 2b and pulls the metal foil 2 in the width direction. As a rotation shaft 10c of the roller 10 extends along a conveying direction D1, the peripheral surface 10a of the roller 10 abuts on the metal foil 2 in a predetermined range of the conveying direction D1 and pulls the metal foil 2 in the width direction. Therefore, generation of wrinkles on the metal foil 2 is efficiently suppressed. |
