PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lubricity of roller bearings in a chain guide for guiding the movement of a timing chain by the roller bearings.SOLUTION: Respective shaft ends of a plurality of roller shafts 31 are supported by a pair of opposed side plates 22 of guide bases 21 oppositely disposed to one side of a torque transmission timing chain 5. Needle roller bearings 41 for guiding the chain are rotatably supported by a plurality of roller shafts 31, respectively. An inner diameter d1 of inward flanges 46 provided at both ends of outer rings 42 of the needle roller bearings 41 is set larger than the contact circle diameter d2 of the contact part of a retainer 43 and a roller 45, and set smaller than an end outer diameter D1 of the retainer 43. Large gaps 50 are secured between inner diameter surfaces 46a of the flanges 46 and outer diameter surfaces 31a of the roller shafts 31 to take in lubricating oil to the interior of the bearings from the gaps 50. |
