FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves producing points-counting protocol of biological signs detected within morphological study of hepatic bioptates taken from chronic viral hepatitis patients belonging to the following classes: interlobar degeneration and focal necroses(to 4 points), step- and bridge-like periportal necroses (to 10 points), portal inflammation (to 4 points), separate counts on fibrosis/cyrrhosis (to 4 points). Intrahepatic bile duct state evaluation, immunohistological antigen detection of etiologic viral hepatitis agents, alpha-smooth muscle actine, nuclear antigen of proliferating cells, cholangious cytokeratines, HLA- DR cells and natural killer cells data are additionally included into the protocol.
