A light guide plate (1) and a backlight module. A light incident surface of the light guide plate (1) is circular arc-shaped, a first inclined surface (22) is disposed on one side, close to the light incident surface, of an upper surface (20) of the light guide plate (1), and a second inclined surface (32) is disposed on one side, close to the light incident surface, of a lower surface (30) of the light guide plate (1), such that after passing through a convergence action of the arc-shaped light incident surface, large-angle light can be totally reflected at the first inclined surface (22) and the second inclined surface (32), the light enters the light guide plate (1), and the light entering the light guide plate (1) is emitted out from a light emergent surface after being conducted and reflected, thereby improving the utilization rate of light and facilitating slim design of a light guide plate. Also provided is a backlight module. The light guide plate enables the backlight module to have a smaller thickness and a better light emergent effect. |
