PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical container capable of enhancing sealability in a seal part and achieving cost reduction.SOLUTION: There is provided a cylindrical container which comprises a body member 30 forming a cylindrical body and a blocking member for blocking an opening of the cylindrical body member 30. An overlapping part, in which both side end parts 36 and 37 of the body member 30 are overlapped with each other, is formed by setting one side end part 36 of the body member 30 as an inner surface of the cylindrical body, a seal part, in which a peripheral edge part of the blocking member and the cylindrical body are tightly contacted each other, is formed and the overlapping part is tightly contacted with the peripheral edge part of the blocking member in the seal part. A cutout 50 positioned at the seal part is formed at a side edge 32 of the one side end part 36 constituting an inner surface of the cylindrical body of both side end parts 36 and 37 of the body member 30, and an edge protective tape 40, which covers the side edge 32 and the cutout 50 and is composed of a member separate from the body member 30, is stuck to the one side end part 36. |
