NACELLE INLET WITH EXTENDED OUTER BARREL

A nacelle inlet (42) is provided for an aircraft propulsion system (20). This nacelle inlet (42) includes an outer barrel (54), a bulkhead (58,60) and a plurality of supports (62). The outer barrel (54) extends around an axis (36) and along the axis (36) to an aft end (74). The bulkhead (58, 60) is within and connected to the outer barrel (54). An aft portion (86) of the outer barrel (54) projects axially aftward from the bulkhead (58, 60) to the aft end (74). The supports (62) are disposed around the axis (36) and next to the bulkhead (58, 60). The supports (62) are configured to support the aft portion (86) of the outer barrel (54).
