The disinfection device comprises a disinfection chamber, at least one source of UV radiation for irradiating said disinfection chamber, support means arranged in said chamber for supporting at an upper surface an object with a surface to be disinfected, wherein the upper surface contacts a first area of the object's surface. The disinfection device further comprises auxiliary support means comprising a plurality of support elements provided with an upper surface that is substantially dot-or line-shaped, wherein the support elements are dimensioned such that the object will always be supported by more than one support element. The auxiliary support means are movable, such the first area of the object's surface gets exposed by means of a movement of the auxiliary support means. |
