Disclosed is a drawer wall element (4) for a drawer, into which an edge section of a drawer base can be fitted, the drawer wall element (4) comprising a wall profile part (3) and a base receiving profile part (1) which can be interconnected to provide, on the produced drawer wall element (4), a contact surface on the base receiving profile part (1) for supporting the underside of a drawer base that can be fitted into the drawer wall element (4). According to the invention, the wall profile part (3) comprises a chamber section (13) having an inner-wall sheet section and an outer-wall sheet section (15), the base of the outer-wall sheet section (15) transitioning into an extension section which extends downwards further than a lower edge of the inner-wall sheet section, and a mounting section that is bent upwards in relation to the contact surface is provided on the base receiving profile part (1). When the parts are interconnected, the mounting section is supported by its rear face on the extension section and the contact surface for the drawer base extends across the space between the inner-wall sheet section and the outer-wall sheet section (15). |
