PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat reservoir automatic agitating device for a regenerative burner in which a work for removing deposit adhered to the heat reservoir is not manually carried out, but carried out by an automatic agitating device through its mechanical formation, removal of deposit can be easily attained, its working time can be shortened, and working efficiency as well as operating efficiency are superior.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an automatic agitating device for removing deposit adhered to heat reservoirs 3 filled in a heat reservoir chamber 2 of a regenerative burner 1. A tip metal fitting 7 is fixed to the extremity end of a reciprocating cylinder 4 installed outside the heat reservoir chamber 2 and the tip metal fitting 7 is fixed to a ratchet wrench 8 so as to change a reciprocating motion to a rotating motion. The rotating motion rotates a rotating shaft 9 arranged inside the heat reservoir chamber 2 and an agitating rod 16 having rotary vanes 15 so as to agitate within the heat reservoir chamber 2 and at the same time the cylinder 4 is controlled for its pushing and drawing operations with a solenoid valve 40 so as to agitate the agitating rod 16 for a specified period of time and then the cylinder automatically stops. |
