This sealed battery comprises a power generating element containing electrode sheets and separators, laminated films provided so as to sandwich the power generating element, electrode connection terminals connected to the electrode sheets, and an electrolyte. The laminated films form a power generating element housing portion which is sealed by: welded portions where the laminated films are stacked against and welded to each other; and first sealed portions where the electrode connection terminals are sandwiched by and welded to the laminated films. The power generating element and the electrolyte are housed inside the power generating element housing portion. Each of the electrode connection terminals has an external connection portion for connecting externally, and a conducting portion provided between the external connection portion and the first sealed portion. The conducting portion is enveloped by the laminated film with no adhesion.
