PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of chips due to splitting of a long oblique orientation film in the orientation direction when a long optical film including the long oblique orientation film is cut in a width direction of the film.SOLUTION: An orientation direction of the long oblique orientation film is inclined from a longitudinal direction and a width direction of the film. A film F including the long oblique orientation film is subjected, in a part along the longitudinal direction, to an orientation relaxation treatment to relax the orientation of the long oblique orientation film. A region R where the orientation relaxation treatment of the film F is performed is cut in the width direction. |
